      dry live rock

      would any one say not use dry live rock lol dead rock now ?

      Yes sir, I would recommend putting some live sand in or if nothing live, then Macrobacter 7 which will establish the nitrifying bacteria you need.

      I used dead rock, live sand, and MB7

      i started with all dead rock and used mb7 and then added one small piece from another system.
