NextReef MR1 Shorty Reactor & pump

Like new reactor. I will through in the pump. Used for carbon. Can be used as a bio-pellet reactor also. $45. Encinitas

The most compact media reactor for the most compact tanks.

If you only have a 100 gallons of Marine tank or 200 gallons of Freshwater tank, you won't need the standard-sized MR1 Reactors. All you need is the NextReef MR1 Shorty Reactor! It is eight inches tall but has exactly the same features as the big ones.

Like the other NextReef MR1 reactors, the shorty also boasts a massive 4-inch chamber which is one of the largest chambers around. Size is a big deal when it comes to reactors because a huge space maximizes water to media contact and minimizes dead zones, therefore greatly increasing the reactor's efficiency. All MR1 NextReef Media Reactor are hand-crafted in the USA from the highest quality materials so rest assured that you're buying a reactor that's in it for the long haul.

      FEATURES:

      Height: eight inches
Has the exact same features as the other MR1 reactors
      Superior design and computer-aided engineering
Lid is designed to come off easily and only when you want it to
Recommended for phosphate control, de-nitrification or fluidized sand filtration
      Multi-point fastening system
      Heavy gauge domestic acrylic
      Ozone-friendly

      TECHNICAL SPECS:

Recommended Tank Size: 100 gallons Marine / 200 gallons Freshwater
      Height: 8.5in
      Width: 6in
      Reaction Chamber: 7in x 4in
Total Capacity: 77 cubic inches /1.6 litre
Inlet / Outlet: 1/2in 90-Degree Barb Fittings - fits standard 1/2in ID tubing
