Seen something says they penetrate lay eggs and use nutrients from the coral basically killing it.by depriving it.of the nutrients absorbing it for themselves
I've never seen those but I'll look when my lights come on Jason. Hopefully they didn't come from my tank.
It kinda looks like a type of zoa spider, but there are so many types of sea spiders, it's hard to know.

It looks different than the ones here, so maybe(hopefully) not.

Been doing some research, there are several different variants to sea spiders and it looks like the ones that I have like ALL coral but good news is so far it looks to be easily treated with interceptor.
Post a link to what you've found I hope it hasn't gone around various tanks spreading that would still suck even if easy fix
Well I'll be checking out my tank thoroughly
I posted on another forum and a member on there had the same ones, treated 3 times with interceptor and was good after that. Been doing this since 2007 and this is the first time I've had them so I guess now you can say I've hit the trifecta, red bugs, AEFW, now coral eating sea spiders.
I have had 1 zoa spider in the beginning I freaked out hours on end late night flashlight tweezers and dip never seen another I seen Flatworms from a LFS frag I added but yellow coris ridded them.immediately zoa eating nudis from another lfs. Tweezers for eggs iodine ' revive and peroxide found 2 nudis. That was it. I get all tweaked out on my tank when I find something bad.
They need to call your vet to confirm you have a prescription for interceptor.
