I Completely screwed up my aquascape. I have some small patches of maidens hair algae that I wanted to get rid of and trim back. My Cad Lights 8 has 4 pieces of rock I thought I could pull one out and get rid of the algae. It has been 2 days now and I cant put it back to how I had it. So frustrating. My wife thinks I need to be put in an institution. 2 days looking at pics trying to figure out how to put it back together. Out of all my tanks this one was my favorite as far as the aquascape was. I am gonna start drinking now as I was well into a 12pack when I originally put it together. Maybe the beer will trigger something in my memory

I rushed mine so fast that my rocks are really messed up, i regret rushing my aquascape. Drink up bud. Remember beerfest is coming up in embarcadero

I've done that, trying to catch a Flame Angel that decided to be non-reef friendly. I thought I could just "move one rock," and 45 minutes later I had rocks everywhere (garage tank)-scattered out of the water, some in buckets, some never went back in the tank.

I feel your pain, and will be joining you in Reefer-solidarity, hoisting a brisk adult beverage to wipe put my own bad memories.

Hope the trigger works for you, but if not, we can both stumble back to AA mumbling: "God grant me the serenity to accept that the new reef is better, and to forget it was ever any different,....and thanks for the beer, lord, Amen."

damn that's how i feel sometimes when i take something out to move something or get some frag that fell off a rock some where...good luck man!

Yup took an abused damsel(less dominant)from a fellow reefer when I was new that was a dumba.. move 5 minutes in the tank he started chasing my royal gramma but it took 2+ hours and the life of a stressed out fire fish to take everything out and back. Looked like I let someone who hates fish tanks scape the rock work I had to say F! It go to bed and let my inner peace allow me the strength to wait til the next day to calmly redo the Rockwork.
