Some of you know me most don't. I have been keeping reef aquariums 24 years. I have downsized from the glory days of my 300gal tank that SDGE bills killed, but they could not kill my interest. I have not been that active on forums lately but in the early days of Fishnet (early internet Forum on AOL reef discussion) I was.

I had a leak in the big tank a year ago so it had to be drained and fixed. After starting over with the same live rock and some other animals it is starting to come together now. I have had a battle with nuisance algae and a cyanobacteria outbreak, but I think I am starting to win the battle.

The reefs I have are one 130 gal shallow 6 ft long and a standard 75 gal that are connected through a common sump and equipment. When it develops I will continue to update the progress here. I hope you like.

A little update. More small frags for grow out and more fish. Battle with cyano continues. My zeohead friends have almost convinced me to try some KZ products to get rid of it.

It's a Chaetodon melannotus, black back. Reef safe with SPS, and zoas. It's natural diet is Sinularia and I would not put LPS or clams in the same tank. Lovely fish.
