      Hector's 55 gallon reef of fun~

      Hi everything nanoreef here back with another tank broke down my 110 too tall for me. Need something more shallow got this 55 gallon brand new with custom build stand and still need to paint but couldn't wait! Lol Here's few pics enjoy I got over 75lbs of lifesaver rock i think it's bulkreef dry rock few pieces already have coraline algae. Got it from KorL Thanks buddy rock looks great!This was yesterday I took the pics.11/17/14

      Today water cleared up all levels look great going to move my fish later on.

      Looks great!!!! I'll pick the frag up soon so it doesn't risk dying in all these changes. Looks really good though bro.

      Update pictures have been battling a bad crash over the past 2 months barely coming back. Took some corals to Duncans house. Aka 50cube. Had mad brown slime algae I have no idea what could of caused the problem. Maybe the dried bulk reef saver rock was curing. Don't really know. I had white sand but took it out thinking it was that put black sand. This is the tank as today 1/2/15

      Tank looks good now I like the black sand makes colors pop. When I got my brs rock I cured it no lights for about a month and a half before adding to my tank. I've heard they can leach phosphates.

      Yes your right bro that BRS rock does leach phosphates almost positive that was the problem with the brown slime algae. Love that black sand better thanks.

      Corals at my place? I don't know what you're talkin about!
      Tank looks great & corals are doing fine.
