Tank lift and load help - Sat Sep 27th

The guy buying my tank is from OC/LA area so wanted to see if I could secure some manpower to help lift and load the tank at my house. Depending on folks flexibility I was thinking either 11am or 1pm that day? I'd like to have 4 additional people plus myself and the guy buying the tank for a total of 6. Four of us lifted it previously but pretty sure we all thought our backs were going to give out. It's not a light tank. He is only buying the tank so stand will stay with me. Tank is 248g 1/2" glass

      Thanks in advance - Marlin

bump this up....nobody that eager to lift a big tank? Cold beverages and possibly some pizza/food depending on the time will be provided. I know it's a few weeks out but I'd like to have some guarantees that I'll have enough help with the lift. Again, this is just to load the tank into a truck. Tank only - no stand, etc. TIA

Hey Marlin, I work till ~1230 on Saturday but could help out afterwards. I know what a pain it is with the 240s! Assuming you've got the glass suction cups? I've got one that I need to return to SDMAS.

Thanks Andrew, if that is the case then I can shoot for 1pm then. I do have a few suction cups....I never trust them fully but to help slide the tank off the stand before getting your hands underneath the tank they are definitely helpful.
