      tank background question

      just seeing what you guys did for your tank background... is it easier to black vinyl or paint the background?

      Paint is easy, and vinyl seems to get moisture between it and the tank which makes it ugly. You could also do a sheet of black acrylic if you had some laying around.
      My new 40 has a rockwall background, no pics of it yet though!

      Spray paint is his I did one of my tanks, I've also done Window tint in the past.

      I use painted plexi,super easy and matches everything.

      I only painted the areas around my overflow box on my current tank so I wouldn't have to see plumbing. Before I have always painted the whole back side.
