      4 inch Moorish Idol -$70

Moorish Idol for sale, healthy, with a long streaming dorsal fin, caught on Oahu by myself with hand net at night, brought it over with me on the plane last week (which is legal), but he's incompatible with my stingray I have - he pokes at ray's tail. He's fine with all my other fish. He eats small new life spectrum pellets, nori, krill, and algae off live rock.

      Please text for photos

thanks man. Yeah, most tangs and other good aquarium fish are sleeping in caves and rock and totally hidden at night. Moorish idols are active at night, and you can catch them with a snorkel, flashlight, and hand net, 50 yards from shore. And TSA website says it's ok to transport live fish on carry-on bags, in larger than 4 oz bags.

Yeah, I have a bit of frogspawn and montipora, and very small rock of zoas. It didn't bother those, but, I've read they're sometimes not compatible with corals.

That's so cool I had no idea that was legal. Good to know!! Man I have a 180g tank and I wanted 3 idols as my centerpiece but I'm afraid my tanks too new yet. Love to see pics.

Ok don't judge my pic! This is two days after I started my tanks just wanted to see if I could figure out how to post a pic! Lol. Just push the + sign next to type window then click the little pic to pull existing photo

that's a badass set-up. but I've got an android and use a cpu, and there's no "+ sign" so I guess I can't attach photos. There's an "image" link but it's complicated, asking for url's and crap
