Saw you are running dosers, how are you liking that?
Are you just doing 2 part, or are you doing kalkwasser too?
Do you have anything to keep dosers from fouling, as in a controller?
Gotta say, sump area is super clean and organized, makes me want to clean mine up.
      Thanks Dave.

Dosing only 2-part. No kalk. So far I have not had any fouling/clogging issues. Its been running for little over a month now. My doser controllers are nothing more that a wall timer.

^^ I've seen so many people on RC lately go w/ dosers instead of CA reactors, and I've decided to do the same.
I have a pair of Drews and the same digital timers as yours.
Every now and then someone posts that dosers can fail in the on position which is my only fear, though I don't recall seeing any tragic posts due to them.
I'm looking at a controller for assured peace of mind.

Dave, isn't controller just as likely to fail as digital wall timer...

Well, a wall timer can fail stuck ON, that is my fear.
A controller is less likely to fail, and provides a secondary safety.
The controller isn't going to over ride what the timer does as in turning it on, but rather pick up a spike in the event of one and shut down the dosers.

No sweat, I'll be chatting w/ Dave Morris on this subject soon and in more detail, figure he's a very good local source on this kinda stuff.

      Thanks.

Tank was ordered from one the SanDiegoReefs sponsors. Cabinet was built by our carpenter.

I ordered 100 lbs from marco(large football size pieces), and I purchased another 50 lbs from a fellow reefer (smaller size).

When you order from marco, you can request what size pieces you need, in my case, looks like he complied.

Any more updates??? Can't get enough. Great looking tank PK. I am in the beginning stages of an 80g build and may pick your brain if you don't mind.
