Bought this tank off of Sdreefs about two months ago. I am taking my time setting it up. I want to do it right this time with no regrets. I plan on putting a lot of coral in this tank as it will be the first thing you see when you walk into the house. I want to make a good first impression of just how crazy I am when it comes to reefing. I am currently awaiting lights (I hope to pick them up next weekend). Crazy enough the tank has cycled without them and the little bit of fish currently inhabiting it are doing great and eating like pigs.
Some first for me with this tank.
1. buying lights that cost more then the tank itself.
2. buying a whole school of chromis that have all survived since day one and have grown noticeably larger since I purchased them.
3. setting up a quarantine tank.
4. setting up a full water station to do my own water changes and top off's.
5. running filter socks (wont last long, I hate them).
6. setting up an large refuge with chaeto and mangroves.(Usually just a small one)
7. Running dosing pumps.
I figure I still have a couple of months before I consider myself done and only worrying about livestock.
Well take a look and let me know what you think.
