I am reluctantly selling my complete reef aquarium setup. This has been my pride and joy for the last four and a half years. Unfortunately, I am going to be doing a lot of travel with my job over the next few years and am moving in a few weeks, and my long absences will preclude me from caring for the tank properly. The tank is a heavily modified Oceanic Biocube 29. The most important upgrade is the addition of an AquaC Remora protein skimmer. This allows for a much more vibrant reef than the Biocube could otherwise support. In addition, I have added an automatic feeder, heater, and UV Filter (which needs a new bulb). I am including all of the accessories, supplements, and food that I own with the tank. I will help the purchaser move the tank to their house; over the course of the tank's life, I have moved it from Pensacola, FL to Enid, OK, to Kingsville, TX, and finally to Encinitas. I have a large cooler on wheels with shelves for the corals and an aerator that I will use to move the tank (I will include the cooler as well in the purchase). I would prefer to sell to someone with salt-water experience who knows how to properly care for this tank; however, if you are looking for a turnkey tank to get into the hobby, I am happy to talk to you about the proper care of the tank. My main concern is that whoever purchases the tank will be able to care for it properly as I have for the last several years. The list of livestock and equipment is below. Feel free to contact me with any questions or offers. My e-mail address is timburchett@comcast.net, and I will send pictures. I am selling everything for $600 OBO. If you are simply interested in the livestock, feel free to contact me and we can work something out. All offers will be considered, especially if you have the experience to provide the tank with a good home. Thanks for looking.
Tim
