Very Nice...! I especially enjoyed the music carefully chosen to accompany the movement of the pieces....LOL I see you have a Calm in there as well up against few ricordeas. I would be interested in your dosing, lights, carbon use, water changes.

      Thanks

Lol thanks, it was just what was on youtube
Surprisingly the clam is not bothered by the rics at all, it even lays its mantle flat on top of the rics.
as for dosing I use an auto doser that doses 4ml of alk and cal at night and .5ml of mag every night as well. the lights i use just 2 panorama pros and carbon i use seachems "seagel."
And as far as water changes I do about 50% once a week since its a small enough tank

do you have any details on the setup? what is that stand pipe in the corner? skimmer? what lights? how's the temps on hotter days? i've been out of the game for years and have been wanting to setup a spec v as my slow but steady return lol.

I've actually upgraded to a nuvo 16 just so I can keep more fish. Pm me if you're interested in the tank by itself. As far as the system.

I have a mame designs skimmer (the stand pipe lookin thing you said). I've got 2x ecoxotic panorama pros and 2x stunner strips. An mp10 for the sps. And a mini jet 606 for the return. honestly the tank would be fine with just the return pump for LPS and softies, but it was lacking when it came to sps.

The temp stays a solid 78+ - . 2 degrees. I have a colbalt neo therm heater. And then a jbj ato.

do you think there would be enough space to have that skimmer in the overflow area? i still have my mp10 and RKL in a box and this seems like the perfect setup for a return to the hobby lol. are you reusing all the lights on your new tank? what do you have available from this spec v? do you have any photos of the light setup above the tank?
