Jami you find some weird sh$& in your tanks. Haha that thing is creepy. I have heard of these demolishing snails and CUC's.i would stalk the tank a few times at night to make sure there isn't more.

YA!! I do!! I'm kinda scared to look at night now! lol You can see the snail shell in the bucket? it was wrapped around the shell, almost invisible! .. took out the snail, since it was clearly dead..and this big mofo crawled right off! .. CRAZY! I swear, I kill more turbos than I can keep count of!

Polyclad flatworms are tank killers. The one (I hope it was only one) that I had destroyed a self-propagating population of Trochus snails before I finally found it early one morning, killing one of my last snails. Disturbing creature.

The reason I call them tank killers is they can throw off the entire balance of the tank, by removing the algae/cyano removing crew.

There are likely more. They love eating clams, and snails.

Found one of them a couple years ago... after my snails were decimated. Here it is wrapped around one of them eating it

      Glad you got it out

Just thought I wasn't acclimating well enough , even though I stretched it out for 2 hours! Thanks for the info... And the new after hours hobby! Lol btw.. Any natural predators that can help pick them off that u guys know of? .. Besides me and a tweezer!!

Don't use tweezers, they can break into small pieces. Each new piece will probably become a new polyclad flatworm! Sipon them out with a large diameter tube or remove the entire rock that they are on, if that is an option.
