      Always go bigger. You run out of real estate really fast. Acrylic is much lighter but scratches easier. I feel safer having a internal overflow than an external overflow.

      I prefer glass simply because of price. But of course it has it's fall backs. Primarily the possibility of springing a leak. As for size, I always tell people to go with as big as you can afford, and have room for. Otherwise you'll end up upgrading.
