LOOK FOR AN UPDATE: TONIGHT, EVENING (12/9, ~7PM)...
Quick Look:
- Reliable, name brand membrane. Manufactured in the USA by TFC. (Online at Marine Depot for ex.)
- Include a GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) polishing post-filter, following DI media for taste, odor and color improvements.
- Provides both De-Ionization as well as Reverse Osmosis, all inline.
- Can be installed virtually anywhere, includes multiple feed water adapters for multiple applications and locations.
- Compact footprint, 15.5” H x 6.5” W x 18” L, 15lb dry weight.
- Installs under your sink and works as a regular drinking water system, just turn the valves on and you have pure water.
- No more bottles of water to carry home
- Removes 99% of all Sodium, aluminum, lead, copper, arsenic, mercury, calcium, phosphate, iron, magnesium, zinc, chloride, nitrate, silicate, cyanide, sulphide, nickel, silver, bicarbonate, manganese, ammonium, barium, chromium and phosphates.
- Removes 99% of all bacteria from your water.
- Water Purity Reference: (1.) Tap or well water (300 PPM), (2.) After RO system (20 PPM) ---> (3.) After DI filter (0 PPM).
- All fittings are the quick-connect style micro fitting.
- Clear housings on the first stage pre-filters, easy dirt, debris, algae detection.
- Filters are the industrial standard length, 10”, suitable for ALL RO/DI units with similar housing sizes (regardless of outer appearance).
- Filter ratings are 12 months, or about 2500-3000 gallons.
Stages:
- 5 Micron PP Sediment (6-12mo life)
- 5 Micron Coconut Carbon (6-12mo life)
- 5 Micron Coconut Carbon (6-12mo life)
- TFC 100gpd Reverse Osmosis Membrane (2-3 yr life)
- De-Ionization Filter (+500gal life)
- Inline GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) (6-12mo life)
The unit is designed for PSI ranging from 40-80, with a “sweet spot” sitting around 65PSI for optimal filtration (due to pressure needed for membrane performance). If you hose/incoming PSI is sub par (<40) a “booster pump” is needed. If vice-versa, and your line has a PSI greater than 80, a pressure regulator is required. Both extremes can harm/destroy your filters, it’s best to always play it safe.
The price will be $100.00, that cost gets you a 100% ready-to-go system with all the plumbing attachments and tubing that you need.
If this all goes as planned: once orders are sent to the manufacturer, they will build/assemble all the items in the order, and I will drive out to pick them up.
The prices will be EXACTLY what I am being charged, I won't pay for shipping since I'll be my own shipping, thus I wont ask any of you to help me make a dollar. I merely want a way to get a killer RO/DI for that cheap...
Shooting for before Christmas, or the 2nd week of January
