      Sand needed for fuge

      Hello reefers,

      Just set up my fuge and need some sand about 10 pounds or so. LMK if you have samo and how much. it should be fine sand and live if possible.

      For such a small amount, and not caring if it's white or not... La Jolla Shores (where the Kayaks launch). Just about calf deep water... scoop up a small bucket.

      Thank you for advise. I had no idea it was OK to use our sand like that. But i already bought some from LFS.

      No prob.

      BTW, I don't know how "okay" it is, or isn't... but, I've borrowed a couple 5gal buckets full, and nobody said a thing.
