I'm in oceanside so that's not far
Let me know if you want it. May have a pump also, have to see if it works
K. I'm gonna try this cyano stuff first. If it goes away in a couple days I'll kno it's that. If not I'll come by and get it
Ok, just let me know, what are you going to use?
Chemiclean
I would recommend Red Slime Remover. It is known to truly be reef safe and from personal experience I know it works well.

I'm trying the cyano stuff but as of now it's still growing and looking more and more like dinos. Ugh. I may be looking for a coral and fish babysitter. Good thing is I'm already in the process of switching tanks so cleaning off rocks will be easier
Dinos are easy to get rid of once you know how to. Here's how I got rid of them in a 150 gallon cube:
1. Cut back the lighting period to approx 4 hours
2. Increased ALK to 12 DKH
3. STOPPED water changes.
4. Ran GFO
1. This is obvious. Dinos are photosynthetic. Reducing the lighting limits the photosynthesis.
2. Increasing the ALK slows their growth.
3. Stopping water changes, allows the Dinos to use up all the available nutrients in the tank. By not changing the water, you are not adding any new nutrients from new water.
4. The GFO removes any phosphate that's in the tank which the dinos my be feeding off of.
Here's another important tip, do not manually remove them. This will only allow the dinos to bloom.
These directions were given to me by Julian Sprung. It worked very well. Once the dinos are gone, you want to increase your lighting period little by little over a few weeks. It's also important to maintain the ALK at this level until the dinos are gone. You'll want to let it fall back to normal levels over a couple weeks as well. Hope this works for you as well as it worked for me!
So I used chemiclean in hopes it was cyano and it didn't do sh*t. So I turned lights to only 4 hrs a day and it's keeping it under control more but not getting rid of it. I don't have a reactor either but I'm looking at this phosBan reactor on drs foster and smith. It's the reactor 150 or reactor 550. How much gph do I need with a total overall water volume of around 90g? And also if I don't do any water changes I still have I top off. So thats still going to introduce nutrients.
Or should I go with the brs gfo & carbon reactor dual with the pump.
It won't go away over night. It took about 2 weeks for it to fully go away. The smaller maxi jets should work with a media reactor. You don't need a lot of flow with gfo. Just enough to fluidize the gfo.

And won't the topping off put nutrients back into the tank
Make sure you are using zero TDS rodi. It's a small amount compared to a water change. It'll be ok.

Ya I have been using ro/di. Don't have a tds thing but it's one of the nicest systems u can get
