You have a huge control over these lights. They're easy and cheap to control.
In the morning when I'm in the zombie mode I want very little light in the room, but I still want to be able to feed my fish before going to work. So the light is set to stay at a low level with lots of blue. Later in the day it ramps up to the maximum wanted level and chosen color (temperature). At the end of the day it fades out over one and a half hour, blues start first (my personal choice) and that gives my tank the "sun" set. The colors are good, coral grows good and they're energy efficient

Sorry I've not been keeping up with this thread. In the DIY section of this forum, there is a thread there that most hang out in.

We can organize a group buy. We just need at least 50 people to participate.
