Any news of a Dreamchip V2?
how much u pay for LED set up bro
Hey Ron,...I see AC-RC is 50W Dream Chips again. Are the led channels the same as the original or have they made changes?Thanks,---Rick

Hi guys
New on here and just read through about 35 pages of this thread!
I am going to be ordering some dream Led Chips but need to know how to make them controllable via Pc( if at all possible) as well as what is needed :
1) cool the chip
2) run the chip
3) Controll each channel on the chip .
Many thanks and awsome forum!
I meant to run all three chips instead of the two I have, what drivers would I need to replace? I figured I would need three totally different drivers to run 3DC vs 2DC.
I have been looking into a diy multi chip for awhile now. The above pic is not what i want to do. The off the shelve leds dont have that nightmare of drivers, wiring, massive cpu towers with all the stuff to make it work. All the finished dream chip or Lumina 5.1 builds I have seen look like something out of frankenstiens lab. How is it that Kessil can put everything to make the light work into something with a footprint of a softball? AI, Ecotech, Ecoxotic, and all the china boxes fit all into a very small footprint.I want to build something the size of a Kessil with a power supply. I dont wont to have a seperate place for the multiple power supplies, drivers, dimmers. Has anyone made a chipset that will dim and control the lights with an apex without using a cpu tower to store all the stuff to make it work?I want to run 2 over my 90 gallon tank. I want to control it with my Apex. Is it possible to control a multi chip with an AI circuit board?
Has anyone tried the Makers Driver 5UP Pro to distribute power?

Thinking of going that route to set up a new set of lights.
They aren't showing whats under the hood, but O2 on RC is designing similar boards based on A6211 chips. I built 5up boards that I use cat5 cables to connect things to my Jarduino. The board will put out up to 1400ma depending on what Rsense resistor used in the circuit. I made some to put out 700ma for 50w DC's. http://i.imgur.com/BKA6h96.jpg, http://i.imgur.com/LS9ylqT.jpg, http://i.imgur.com/C4Zm91p.jpg, http://i.imgur.com/MR1TFrh.jpg, http://i.imgur.com/ZBTmnhF.jpg
Have you heard anything on the V2,...just curious.---Rick
