Exhibits Preparator

Responsible for helping to ensure on a daily bases that all exhibit and graphic displays throughout the facility (excluding live exhibits) are operational, clean and functioning properly. Assist with the routine maintenance of existing and new exhibits, including audio-visual exhibits and water-based exhibits. Perform various tasks which include: computer work, sign/graphic fabrication, painting, mount-making, and installation of exhibits and displays as designated by unit supervisor. Assist with acquisition of supplies and materials. As part of the exhibit team, assist with proper storage and collection of exhibit elements. If needed, work designated weekends and holidays to open exhibit galleries and ensure that exhibits are operational and clean.
