Name that Spider

I'm not good at identifying spiders and if it wasn't for my wife I would have probably lit this one up in flames....I'm not a fan but I do realize they usually kill and eat annoying insects and I do have to admit it made an amazing web in no time.....biggest web I've ever seen.....could catch a bird in that thing.

I think it's a type of orb web weaver spider! There's many types of orb weavers! They make rad webs but they suck to run into. I'm the dude you see stripping when I run into a web!

That spider is both creepy and beautiful...


My wife is definitely terrified of spiders.... And we find probably 10+ each week in the house!
