Melenarus wrasse
Uh oh, bad news, look up my flatworm thread. Takes some prep to get ready.
I treatment of flatworm exit may be the best option if it's a bad infestation. You'll need lots of carbon, and water for water changes ready to go. If you want to lighten up the load a little before using the flatworm exit, get a Melanarus Wrasse to clean up then do the treatment.
i have a melanarus wrasse but i never see him eat them he ate all my bristleworms in my tank but he wont eat the flatworms, would a six line do the trick
my melanarus is very non aggressive, if i put a six line in the tank would they fight?
My six line never touched them. You tube has some videos on treatment. I don't think any fish will get them before it's too late. If they are already smothering things you may not have any other way. Be aware that there are probably 2-3 more than you can see. I'll pm you my number, call me Tommorrow if you want.
okay cool ill give you a call tomorrow
flatworm exit for immediate relief. siphon out all you can. do decent water change. be prepared to do it again in the near future. get melanarus or 6 line for future control. I put my money on the melanarus - better luck for me, and they tend to be more docile than a 6 line.
what about a nudibranch ? i heard those eat flatworms right
what size is your tank? Definitely suggest siphoning (use the rigid airline tubing - you can get at HD used on refrigerators, etc if you don't have any) as many as possible before ever dosing with flatworm exit. If you have a bad infestation that is covering rocks IMO it's the only way to get immediate results that will eliminate so many. I had a horrible infestation in a 240 and nuked the heck out of my tank and fortunately didn't lose a thing nor did I have to redose which is not common. Have a lot of water ready for water changes, fresh carbon, etc. I did approximately a 50-65% WC on a 240g system at the time and even though I siphoned the heck out of the tank and thought I had found a lot of the planaria they came out of every crevice of rock once I nuked the tank. Once the corals started responding negatively I started the massive water change and continued to siphon the entire time. I'd also suggest having 1 or 2 people helping you when you do the treatment that can help with the siphoning, wc, etc.

Siphon the flatworms into a filter sock so you wont waste so much water, the flip the sock inside out to rinse.... I think
