      Platy's in pond ?

I have a handfull of platy's I want out of my tank. I have seen hundreds of them in mountain ponds in Hawaii and it gets pretty cold up there. I have a pond at the ex's house, have had white clouds and Florida flagfish in there for years. Temps do get into low 50's in winter but they thrive. So ... think the platy's would make it or better to PIF them or take them to lfs ?

I would assume that the 50's would kill them..

Ambient temp is always lower than the pond water due to thermal heat it should make, it just put them now while the pond water is warmer.
