5 channel Multichip Panel Group Buy

Hi Ron,

After reading up on the dream chip DIY thread It occured to me that I may have confused the upcoming group buy with a group buy for the Dream Chip v2.

As I am in no hurry to get my lighting solution (a lot of other things to do as well, including building my stand), I might want to wait for the v2 of the Dream Chip. Do you have any idea when it will be ready? Also, is there going to be a 50W version available?

Hey Esben,

v2 will be a result of the findings from v1. That was my understanding from the beginning. It really should have been that the first Dream Chip build is v0.9. The next version with any improvements, if any, should really be v1.0.

No, hard date as to when "v2" will be out, and I don't see why a 50W version should not be released. I have two 50W dream chips.

@007Bond 3 of the chips planned for my display- might only use two and the rest are for coral bays as I'm in process to start importing livestock busy building holding tanks at moment. I don't dive for my tank in our waters the water in Fish Hoek is not tropical temperature, u do however get reef fish on our east coast. The African fish you get in the trade prob came from Kenya.

I'll be starting another group buy thread for Dream Chip Group Buy #2. Not a v2 Dream Chip. Just more of the same Dream Chip from the first Group Buy.
