Thanks Johnny! Super stoked to get this!!! The cube is awaiting it!
Thanks for the update Johnny, looking forward to installing these on my tank!
You all should have DHL tracking info now.
Looks like your lights will be here this week. Someone needs to load them on the plane... and get'em out of Hong Kong! They've already gone through pre-check.
BTW, I think I need to do a bit of clarification on "Group Buys";
Group buys are intended to save the end-buyers money. Not for the original buyer (poster of the thread), to MAKE money on the end-buyers.
I often see a group buy post up, with inflated cost of the buy. That inflated cost, goes right into the pocket of the person doing the group buy. This is BAD mojo and shouldn't be allowed in the group buy section (most web forums don't allow it, and patrol it). If that kind of purchase is to be done in group-buy sections, it should be done with full disclosure so each end-buyer knows what he's paying the 'buyer' to obtain such a product. I understand sometimes an end-buyer doesn't mind paying the person (buyer) a few extra bucks to do the "dirty" work in sending payment and contacting the manufacturer/shipper... But, when the markup is going to line the pocket of the initial buyer... it needs to be stated as such (in my opinion), to keep everyone honest and to show it's a legitimate group buy.
For example, on these group-buys I post... I make "lunch money". Not enough to line my pocket with phat stacks. The light itself is pretty cheap, then shipping, then Western Union fee, then an import duty (if your 100% honest with the shipper, which I am). If I order one light, or many... I'll pass the final savings of a large quantity order, onto the end-buyer. In fact, if you want to order lights on your own (and have a good grasp on what you want, or how to order)... I'll give you the contact information. Nothing to hide here. I can't say that for all the group buys I see posted.
If a buyer wants to make money on fellow reefers, he should buy quantity and stock them (like LarryM, or Dom_Michael did). He should offer a warranty or repair procedure and stock spare parts, and should only be posting them in the "Equipment - for sale" section of the site. But again, that's just my opinion... I don't make the rules.
As LED pricing decreases... so will our price. I'll pass that savings onto everyone.
ULTIMATELY; What's in it for me ?? ...I enjoy helping out fellow reefers, get into LEDs and obtain a solid/quality light. I do it for fun... for the enjoyment. If your smiling... so am I!
OR, read the rules; http://www.sandiegoreefs.com/forums/...before-posting.

Thanks again Johnny for the lights! I will let you know if I need another.
Oustanding seller - very professional and a wealth of knowledge, smooth and quick transaction, and buyers are kept in the loop of the order the entire time. Highly recommended to anyone in need of LED units.
Thanks again
Steve
Yup same sentiments thanks Johnny for the lights, corals are very happy.
Any more of these available??
OF COARSE Fellas!! My pleasure.
I always like to help others with their selection, and knowing your all happy puts a smile on my face. I like to share my knowledge, and experiences... so it's nice to be able to pass some of that along. As well, you all know that I'll take care of you if you ever have a problem with your light (for 2yrs anyway). FYI: Warranty is not transferable.
Couldn't be anymore satisfied with this purchase if my corals could speak they would say thanks
