LFS with best prices on standard glass tanks these days?

Hi. Have been out of the hobby for a few years and getting back into it. I'm looking for a 75 gallon glass tank and trying to determine which LFS has the best pricing. I talked to one place and they quoted about $100; won't mention the name of the store. Used to be that around $1 per gallon was standard in terms of pricing on a basic glass tank. So, that's what I'm shooting for. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

The '$1 per gallon' rule typically runs on tanks up to about 40g-55g. That's why petco did that sale awhile back because that is usually the maximum size tank they have on hand. I went into a petco and tried to get a 180g for $180... didn't fly. $100 for a 75g sounds pretty fair to me.

75 gallon tanks usually go for around $130-$140. $100 retail is a very fair price for a new 75g tank.

there's a hole in the wall place In spring valley called "mikes aquarium". They might have a decent price as well?..otherwise..petco and petsmart usually do the "$1 per gal" deal��..

I can tell you after 3 years of working at Petco that the Petco dollar per gallon sale does not include the 75g.
