Well I would be controlling it with my Reefkeeper and it supplies a 0v - 10v DC control voltage. It would connect to the + and - inputs on the driver for the LEDs. The version you were talking about with a controller built in could be modified after the fact, but then it would be a waste of money for the controller part. If the control voltage wires from the driver were accessible they could put them on any type of connector and I could just make a jumper wire between the RK controller and the light.
