No worries Brian... I know your just looking for info. AND... no, they are NOT 150Watts... PLEASE Read again!! Even their A350 model is only 90Watts! Their model numbers are very misleading and a common discussion on the true output power.

The chip in that housing of the Kessil A150W is a multi-chip ... or specifically a 30 watt DEX 2100 multi-chip LED

I was contemplating giving LED's a try with them too, probably would have not figured that out until I had the boxes in my hands and would have had to pay to return them for more powerful models. They are not 50W either...!!
The A150W are 30-32W of power, brought on by many small LED chips.

30watts for $265.00 (A150W)
90watts for $399.00 (A350*)

After making adjustments to my order (longer cords, smaller pendant fixture...etc), and adding to the lead time
.... I should have my demo Pendants Monday or Tuesday!

I'll be sure to do some fact finding once I get them.

They are manually dimmable... so it should make for some fun PAR readings.
I'll be testing them against my 120W dimmable LED panels over my 240gal.
... stay tuned (I'll start a new thread for the comparison).

BTW, if we can get an order of (10)pcs...
I can get the shipped price down to $325ea (for dimmable 100W pendants)!!

Got'em!! They arrived this AM.
And as expected, they are large an in charge!!!

I'll be testing it later today, once I make a temporary mount to hold two of them above my tank.

Got'em up over one half of my 240 for "testing" output...

And the shimmer is ... it's ... to die for!!! Frickin' amazing shimmer!

... I'm already getting ready to design a new pendant. I feel there's no need to go pay $800+ for an Orphek DIF 100W when I can have them made to similar specifications. Those specs will be for us aquarists who want the best output in an efficient pendant. Of coarse before I go down that road of "customizing" I'll be testing PAR and seeing how these stack up to my existing units.

Right now, the color separation is too much (because the lights are mounted so close to the water and I'm not able to direct them properly with my temp mounting system) and it's too blue or too white in my tank. That'll easily be corrected when I get each pendant to have a custom colored multi-chip.

I'll get video up soon to show the shimmer. For now, here's the pictures of them above the tank;

Yup... tons of shimmer! More shimmer in person, then on the video!

Like I mentioned about color ... let me explain more;
DON'T watch the video to view coloration or color output. The lights are too separated and I'm just "testing" them (NOT for color). Being one is a white, and one is a blue... they need to be pointed in the same location to blend the colors and they are not. I'm not doing that at the moment, so it's hard to see their true colors (even on video). This is NOT a color test, or to display their true color output.

I'm currently working with the manufacturer for a 4 color multi-chip (White/Blue/Indigo/Red). This will allow ONE light to replace two. And the colors will blend naturally, and provide the tank with the coloring most everyone will like (as well as the corals!).

It'd be best for you to come take a look at them, before opting to 'buy'.
... and, we'll see more about the multi-chip colors in the next day or so. Already, they've told me they'll do 3 colors but are limited in ouptut wattage. Also, I'm trying to get 'timers' or 'controllers' that will work best with such high output... stay tuned.
