      went to MAX... Saturday (yesterday).

      My first time there... so, not much to compare it to.

      I wasn't too impressed (it takes a lot to impress me I guess), as most everything was something you could see in your local fish store and pricing was just about that too. It was super cool to see some of the manufacturers there, with their engineer or R&D guy.... That was nice. Everything an "event" should be when it comes to that kind of thing. But, if your expecting anything out of the ordinary... it was one huge fish store, with more product than livestock and at near 'retail' pricing. What happened to the "event" pricing?

      Pretty crazy how they can transport all that water, setup, and show the event in such little time. MASSIVE amounts of work for such a short timeframe. Massive!

      ... they were even selling fake lawn?! What gives there?! ... and Solar, they were there too trying to capitalize on the high cost of our energy bills. Smart thinking!!

      I walked the place twice... and was done in an hour and thirty minutes. I didn't buy anything (nobody had what I needed).

      Today's speakers should make the trip worth it, (Marc Melev and Ret Talbot)and today's prices should be much better.
      Saturday usually has the very sought after high end stuff priced higher, hopefully today provides deals on what I'm looking for, which is more or less your avaerage stuff, acans and such.
