I use to buy my fish from Petco, but then I foundout about VETS PETS since then I bought most of my fish to them. They have been very helpful and honest to me. There is one time that Chris did not want to sell me any fish for a week because I'm buying to soon. They could have take advantage of my ignorance, but instead of taking my money they personaly teach me that adding fish after new fish so soon is not healthy for my tank. I admire his honesty and caring about my tank.
If I have the power to give an award to local fish store. I will give VETS PETS an award for the most honest store, and the best customer service in town.
Good job VETS PETS. I hope your store continue growing and stay in San Diego forever, so you can help more people in the hobby.

I couldn't agree more. Ive been in Vets Pets Chris and his people have told me not to buy a fish, because it isnt eating yet, or it just doesn't seem to be acting right. Great customer service!!!!

I love Vets Pets. Doesn't hurt that I live 5 min away from them. But yeah they'll give me honest advice on whether I should put an invert/fish in my tank or not.

Great service, always willing to help. Will hold fish if they're new so you can make sure they're eating. Prices are the lowest I've found and nice specimens.

I just stop by to VETSPETS today and pickup 3 healthy fish. Its realy amazing healtiest fish arround. Chris make sure the fish are eating well before he hand it to me. As usual as always very honest and letting me know that getting his flame angel maybe a risk to some of my corals. I admire this store honesty. The price of their fish are definetly lowest arround, fish are very healthy, and customer service are very professional. I will highly recomend to everyone to buy from this store.

I couldnt be happier with Vets Pets. They now have a customer for life. Besides the numerious counts of buying top notch healty live stock from them i Just recently ordered a tank through them. The tank i ordered is nothing speacil and relativley cheap so they really arent gonna make a whole lot of money on it but they treated me and the spesifics of my tank like i were ordering a huge ticket item. Several calls and working out the specifics with me to ensure that my low cost tank was exactly what i wanted and even worked with me to have an over flow build to my liking for less then i was gonna order one on line. I really am floored with there outstanding customer service and care in this industry. I personally feel like they are a model for other lfs to operate like. Thank you again Vets Pets.

I've had the same experiences from the previous posters here. Chris is top notch for fish and extremely honest. You can definitely see that his business ethics are top notch.
