JBJ Oceanstream Circulation Pump/Powerhead + Duo Wavemaker Kit

So with the recent tank change, I wanted to add random flow, instead of just constant flow. I was thinking about getting a Vortech MP10, but wanted to see if i could get what i wanted out of these for less than a third the price. Two 500GPH pumps, and the controller for about $75.
I was surprised when I opened the box how small these pumps are, they are about the size of a Koralia nano. The magnet is very strong for its size. I like the magnet compared to that of the Koralia. They seem to be very quiet, I don't hear any vibrations, or clicking upon restart....
Ive only had these running since last night, so time will tell.

It's a small tank 24X18X20, so I didnt want a ton of flow, just variable flow. I like it so far.

I'm running a pair of the 1600GPH on my 187. I really like these PH's.

So what type of power heads are you running in the new tank?

Do you think a pair 1600 would work in a 90g cube?

I was using four of the JBJ1600's, but i took out one pair since i added the Tunze Wavebox. So i have two JBJ1600's, and the wavebox.

Mine are coming in today, went with 1600 for my 46. Hope it's not too much but my single koralia 1050 just isn't cutting it.

Jbj says the 500s are for up to 30g so 1600 i went!

How are these so far. I hear mixed things about them but they are great for the money.

Overall I'm pretty happy with them. Have read about performance issues with the koralias, and didn't want to chance being one of those people

I run this with my koralia's(550\750} on 20 sec pulse in my 90 cube, love it...but my 750 has blown up the front bumper 2x now...koralia gave me free fronts so no biggy
120 gallon. I throw money at it, and it grows colorful sticks.
