Group Buy Guidelines - Please read before posting.

Group Buys are where a group of non-commercial SDReef Members pool together and buy a larger order or quantity of something to lower the price, reduce shipping (most times free), or leverage a sale opportunity. Any Commercial entity or representative or agent of a commercial entity cannot post items FS in this section without approval from SDR.

If you have a large group of members that want any particular item, please feel free to email us at webmaster@sandiegoreefs.com and we can possibly negotiate an even lower price (or free shipping, etc) for you on the purchase, especially if it is with an existing sponsor.

Otherwise, please reminder that all terms and conditions for Group Buy are set and managed by the original poster and owner of the thread. Any warranties or gurantees are with THAT thread owner as well therefore if something dies or is defective, you are responsible for dealing with the that person. Please review the FEEDBACK Threads and search out their history first.

Please Note: Occaisionally someone with a "wholesale license" wants to make sales to members via a "Group Buy". These are essentially bulk sales where they profit. These are not intended to help out members other than the original poster. Wholesale licenses are not that difficult to obtain. The higher end wholesalers will require further proof of a commercial establishement, but others are a bit lax. You don't know who inspected your fish, how long it was in the shared bins at the wholesalers, and if it's healthy, warrantied, etc.

ponsors have their individual area to post up specials to members.

      Thank you
