      SPS Colors

So all of my sps are somewhat browned out and i have no idea why. In the stores they would be bright glowing colors but in my tank they are just dull and brown. I am having amazing growth so i feel like im doing something right, but not enough to get nice colors. A suggestions on what i should do or ways to make the colors come out?
      Thanks

A little info on my husbandry.
5 gallon water change once a week with red sea coral pro salt
      No dosing of any sort
I test mag, ca, and kh with a red sea pro test kit and they always come out on the higher end of normal
24 3 watt leds, mis of 12 cool white and 10 royal blue with 2 uv

Whats your source for water? If your not dosing and your alkalinity is that high that raises red flags.

No i have a mix of white and blue, and yes the blues do bring out great color but not when the coral itself browns out

The first thing that draws a red flag is using the water machine. Don't trust them period! I had similar results with mag and alk being high when I was doing weekly water changes with Tropic Marin Pro Reef. I'd be willing to bet your phosphate is an issue. The SPS you listed are pretty much beginner SPS. I recommend you stop using the water machine water and use RODI water as your source water for mixing and top off. I'd bet you see better color in a few weeks.

I dont really have that as an option, i dont have the money at the moment to buy one and i havent found any stores that sell it for a decent price. I will look in to getting a phosphate test kit. Im having great growth on the sps and my red and green monti cap have awsome vibrant colors, just the big one right now is my ora green stylo, it went from being a bright bright green at the store to a dull tan in my tank

You can buy stuff to help reduce the phosphates but it's better to solve the problem then just cover it up. SPS aren't for the average reefer. You definitely need to go the extra mile with water quality to insure proper color and growth.
