      2 tanks for me -
      40 gallon community, LED, CO2
125 still deciding how to restock, LED, CF's, CO2

I'm planning on moving/trimming soon and will have a ton of Wendti brown and moss and probably some other stuff, too. I'll post when I decide what I am going to do.

Going to be a gorgeous show tank with all the tech to boot.

My $440 dual stage co2 regulator.....my gf thinks I'm crazy
      ...you are

But that's going to look awesome when the foreground (glosso?) grows in. I want to do a reef like that, but with GSP instead.

Planted tanks were how I got started in the hobby, jeez like ten years ago? This was my favorite tank, just before I started dabbling in saltwater. This was for the $200 tank challenge on apc. I think I came in around $180 for everything.

Livestock was Wisteria, glossostigma, crypts, java fern, and baby tears. I'd love to do a low light crypt tank someday.

So I purchased a Finnex Ray II and i think i may have gotten the wrong light for my planted tank. I got the ray II DB (10000 k/ actinic) instead of the ray II DS (7000k) which is for planted tanks. I need some advice on it.. Apparent from what I'm reading is that plants need anywhere from 5000k to 10000k and also absorb blue light well, but when i put on the light (only because i prefer the blue) some plants started browning. Just looking for some tips on this. Yes i do know (at least now) that the DB is for Marine tanks. I didn't know when i bought it but i really do enjoy the blue.

Just set this up this weekend, 17G Mr Aqua low iron, eco-complete soil.
      Keeping this low tech.
Now I'm trying to decide what I want for fish...

This was my last planted which was also my first attempt at a low tech planted tank.

      ^^ AH nice low tech!lol

Yeah no rinse on the eco.
I'm not sure if I'm going to put any kind of substrate on top or not, kind of like the black and my plants should cover the bottom as they grow out.
