Web Design Help Needed

My roommate does web design and a new client has a request that is something he's not sure how to do. The client does custom prints on aluminum bottles. He wants to have the option of allowing customers to upload an image, and crop/edit it to fit a bottle and preview what their bottle would look like. Here is an example of what I'm talking about. You have to follow it to the purchase form.

PM sent... The example is pretty complex, it's going to be tough to find someone to replicate the example at that price point.

I do a fair amount of web work. To be honest, that would require a little bigger budget to add that functionality.
