HUGE FISH TANK SALE!

Open House this Sunday, December 4th, from noon until 2pm.
2901-A South El Camino Real
San Clemente

My father, Ken Wilson, passed away last month and we are selling ALL of his fish, corals, supplies, and the tank itself.
Everything is First Come, First Serve and “MMAO” (make me a offer).
I only ask that your offer is fair as we are trying to raise money to buy his headstone still

Ken's screen name was "Kwilson"

His tank is about a 75 gallon acrylic with wooden stand:
- deep sand bed
- around 80+ lbs of live rock
- designer clownfish
- misc cleaner crew
- several nicer LPS corals
- no SPS
- sump, refugium, external little giant pump w spare parts
- powerheads

Please note: I cannot certify the current condition of the tank and its inhabitants as I have not been to my dad’s place in a couple of weeks (A neighbor is keeping the fish well fed). We did, however, change out the water a few weeks ago.

yes- December! thank you, I fixed that. I guess my brain can't wrap itself around the fact that November is gone already!

Unfortunatey, I know almost nothing about fish. even more unfortunate, my father's death was somewhat sudden since he went into the hospital for a routine surgery and just kept getting worse so his tank was left as if he would be going home. Hopefully the photos in the FB album can help you. There were 3 pairs- one large orange, one large black, and one small orange, but when we were there the other week one of the small orange ones had gotten out of their seperate container and could not be located.

I'm not neccessarily opposed to selling the whole lot at once but since I've already advertised the Open House I'm feeling obligated to go ahead with it. My dad was pretty active on this page and loved his fish tank so that's why we offered it for sale here verses publically on Craigslist or something like that.
Are you not able to come by on Sunday?

This fish tank was my dad's hobby, not mine, so in all honesty, I do not really know the exact worth of everything. Over the last few years I have picked some stuff up for him since I live in San Diego and he was disabled and couldn't get around too easily, so I do know roughly what he paid for some of the things, but that's all. I would like to find a fair balance on prices- I want you all to be able to get some great deals but do not want to get ripped off either.

I think that if you can sell the whole lot at once it might be easier then having tons of people come by and just look. I know your father was very dedicated in the hobby and I think you should ask Chris (Lotsafishes) what it is worth and offer it to the person who is asking. I think it would be less of a headache for you if one person came, took everything and that your father would be happy if one person had his tank. But again, this is only my thoughts.... Anyways, good luck with the sale.. your father would be proud of all the efforts you are taking to get his reef tank go to a good home.

fresh2010, Its First Come First Serve mostly because I didn't think I could be organized enough to sell it all beforehand piece by piece. I have a 6 month old baby and work full time to boot!
