That's a beautiful stand PK.. Who built it? Also are you gonna put some kind of liner in the sump? Your not gonna want any water spilling on that wood floor.. Your wife is gonna kill you lol...

      Thanks

Stand skin was built by ASAP custom Cabinets in El Cajon. He has done a lot of wood work for in the house us and its always been good and reasonable.

I put some silicone inside the stand around the perimeter, it will hold small amount of water, but not major over-flow. Any ideas?

I am "planning" on plumbing my tank tonight. Does someone know the height of the Herbie Standpipes(primary and backup) with respect to the overflow ? I did the same on my previous tank, but can't seem to find my notes.

I was thinking primary should be around 60%-70% high and backup should be 80%-90%.

I bought a thick liner from Walmart's arts n craft section then stapled it to the bottom inside of my stand. That way if there were any minor accidents. The liner would catch it..

      .....still in progress.....not final aquascape.

It might seem like I have deep sand bed, but its not. Once the water goes in, sand should settle down.

excellent! Such a beautiful setup, can't wait to see what kindof livestock you are going for...The pillars are cool, I guess you could actually pull them out to mount stuff on?
