here is a thread I started a few days ago. http://www.sdreefs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79227
Thanks Bro.....
Hey alex28 mike at southbay tropical has one in stock rightnow .
You could build a diy cree fixture for about half the price and make it nicer with dimmers and everything else. I just did a build and it was really easy
I didn't think so either but if you can hold a soldering iron then it is that easy...it seriously is just attaching wires. Save yourself a few hundred dollars if you do...spend that on bomb coral.
If your looking for stark the issue is your tank is a 36 x 15 footprint. I beleive the lighting coverage suggested for a starl LED is 12" so you will need three of them. The PAR is poor for what is should be. According to stark direct from their web site " it has 10 CREE XP-E/XR-E 3W White LEDs (Color Temperature: ~8000K)
10 CREE XP-E/XR-E 3W Royal Blue LEDs (Spectrums: 450nm - 460nm)
High PAR value. 200 PAR reading for each LED from 5" distance ".

not too hot in my opinion. must be their lenses or something.
I could provide you with the fixture for $330 but it not big on my recommended list when I have a much better alternative al 2/3 the cost and much higher par and you would only need two.
PM,d you
