Thought I'd update this thread, with a "where is this tank now"? kind of thing...

Well, after sometime of almost 4yrs enjoying it... It's time to break it down.
I sold all the livestock today, and now it's time to sell off the equipment and all my shelf stock.

... it sits sadly empty, and quiet.

Thanks to SDReefs for being supportive. It's been fun!
Time to start itemizing all the "stuff" i have to sell, and blowing up the 'for sale' threads.

      Hey folks.....

      How's it shakin'???

Crazy how long it's been since I've been on here (this site).

... I hope all is well, and everyone is still enjoying your own tanks. I've since moved (in 2016) and went from Clairemont Mesa to Alpine... actually, the furthest East Alpine I could muster and am off Japatul Valley Rd. Look it up! We're out here!!!

I of course no longer have tanks, and am grateful for being able to sell off the old livestock to Chris (lotsafishies - who I hear has moved out of state) and the tank (and most all accessories) to some guy who lived North San Diego.

I also had installed a 432 gal triangular tank in "Seven Mile Casino" at 285 Bay Blvd in Chula Vista (before it was open for business and being built out - in 2014) for a friend of mine that manages the place. "Tanked" guys (or Acrylic Tank Manufacturing out of Las Vegas) made the tank and steel stand, and the internal fake coral hiding the center overflow. They also provided all the filtration and made a compact unit to go under the stand. As I understand it it's still there, but I've not been back to view it. Chris at Lotsafishies used to maintain it... and now, I have no idea who takes care of it.

Anyway.... I'm headed over to see/view others builds and try to not get the bug again. I just don't have time for it, so I'll live vicariously through you all.

      Happy 4th of July!!!!!

      Heya Johnny!

Good to see you around! Like you, I lurk here n there...

I remember your tank... such a stunning tank!

You heard correctly! I moved (escaped!) to Nashville TN. Took over another established servicing route here. Absolutely LOVING life here, and business is growing faster than at any point back in SD.

Unfortunately, I believe that Seven Mile Casino drained and got rid of their aquarium at some point in the last few months... I haven't been in touch with them in awhile, but I'm assuming being shut down / reduced occupancy for covid Bull****e was costing them a lot of money..

      Hope you are well buddy!
