PG stands for Paul Garrett (the owner). They alot of lifts and IMO are a good shop. Memo is an awsome sales person and really cares about his customers.

they install lifts that have no purpose other than looks and to clear bigger tires..if you want real work done so you can ACTUALLY use your truck and not just have a stupid "cali-lift" go here.

I am going to add my two cents that
while I agree the Lift's PG installs
tend to more for looks it is not to say they make a truck less off-roadable. Those kits
on camburg's website are awsome but for
most people they are unnecessary in
application because we do not hammer our trucks while offroading rather do so (at least I do) casually and the RCD Lift the old f150 had helped it with not only tire clearance but also ground clearance. Also I have always thought what an uncomfortable ride it would be in a truck that drives like it has no sway bars. P.S. look at the first f250 lift .......it is your standard "cali-lift" package.

And I'll put in my .02 as well.

Put on what makes you feel good, and make it purpose-built.

I know that going the Camburg route is cool (but they don't make "kits" for 4x4 full-size Chevy; nobody does unless you want to invest over $20,000), but they are practically useless when you're hauling parts and trying to chase a race truck in Baja, or in Jetor's case towing a boat.

And I'm sure it's not the case for AFxPolo, but I've seen a LOT of people put on the long travel setup on their Fords and Toyotas and go the whole pre-runner route and never hit the sand with 'em. Friggin' HATE trailer queens.

Agree with above post. Who cares if people lift their trucks a certain way. If you offroad your truck a certain way you better have the right suspension. If your stupid enough to romp a crappy lift, you deserve a breakdown.

i dont think camburg has anything for the 04 f150 yet. all i need is something to help me clear some bigger tires anyways and the ground clearance the only place i really off road is big bear and most stock 4x4s cane make it there fine. i just dont like hitting rocks.

but i do see some trucks with so much money put into them i mean nothing was stock except the frame which did have mods to strengthen it and there was not one scratch anywhere under it.

      John,

In case you haven't already found it this is a good forum for F150's and can provide you with some good insight on what people are putting on their trucks.
