Just took it out of my tank last night. Sand came from the beach. It has been in my tank for almost 2 years. Its grey in color and I have 2 5gal buckets full. Also has some shells and frag plugs I didn't get out.

The sand was cycled for about 4.5 months before I had it in my 2 year old reef. Nothing wrong with the sand.
