      I have a bunch I'n my tanks and my coral looks great never had a problem

      Some varieties definitely eat coral. They have wiped out several of my zoa colonies.

      Yup, just as the person below you stated, they have eaten plenty of my zoas. On top of that, they have stayed on pieces of my softies and left dead spots. Thanks for trying though.

      and I have them in my tank for years and they haven't eaten a thing...they even sell them at inland aquatics and I am sure that a place that reputable sells coral eating starfish...

      point is without seeing which stars the original poster actually has in his tank you can not make a generalization and call him a fail based on your experience with your tank. the vast majority of micro stars are not going to kill a healthy coral.
