You can just turn off skimmer or any pumps that intro air, turn off lights, plastic and tape seal top of tank, and just run PH's.
Many do this, no sweat, I use to work for a termite Co.
Just need to make sure they know what you are doing or they could pull that stuff out and just set in yard, seen it happen.

      Tooltos,

Thanks for the offer but i think 1x1x12 might be to small, with my large clam on the rest of the frags plus fish...

      Dave,

Sounds like a good idea, do u have to worry about replenishing the oxygen in the tank??? The tank will be shut down from 8am on monday till 5 pm on weds. It seems like a logical work around, and i can call the company that is doing it and let them now. I dont think they could do much with my tank, as its 134g. Thanks for the info, i appreciate it!

As long as you have water movement(PH's) and temp stable you should be fine.
Turn off light to not burn/melt plastic.
Your tank may even look cleaner after 3 days w/out light, many have done that too for nuisance algae's.
Just make sure to tape it sealed.

      Update....

I completly sealed the tank with heavy plastic and packing tape, and also plugged all the over flows.. With no additonal air supply, i just threw in some power heads to keep the water moving and turn the lights off.. Well, Fumigation is complete and everything made it. I got the system back on line and will do a series of water changes for good measure but im pretty sure no toxins got into the system.. Thanks every one for there help.. Glad this challenge is over

      -Nate
