Hi Sharkgirl. Welcome to the boards. Do you know what kind of algae is blooming? How long have your tanks been cycling? What are your water parameters? How often do you do water changes and how much? Most likely more info will be needed before anyone can help you so try to post whatever you can.

You should go to a local fish store and get your water checked.

start with getting the water check, then do a water change. I am sure your nitrates are high.

What kind of fish and corals do you have?
I think you should to do a water change pretty quick.
There are a couple members in your area that will probably help you if they see this post, but if you have to do it yourself, make sure to get the saltwater(premixed) from a fish store, and it's important that you make sure the new water temperature is the same as the tank temperature before putting it in the tanks. If you can get a picture of the tanks and equipment, we can help figure out what type of algea or other problems you have.

This is very good advice, in my opinion. In addition, you can try to clean the algae off the rocks prior to doing the water change. Usually you can get a lot of it with your hands. Sometimes I like to use a toothbrush.
