WOW! Larry that is a great discount off of your original quote. Just curious if this includes shipping. If not, how much is shipping going to be? I know you mentioned they are on a "big holiday over there", so I'm guessing it is overseas? Any chance of you telling us where these are built? I'm definitely interested.
Do you any pics of these oak brackets you are going to make? I'm trying to figure out how I would install under my canopy.
Lastly, do you still need money by Oct. 1st?

All the curent LED's (to my knowledge) are made in China. The price does include shipping to me.

Each bracket would be custom made for the tank it would be placed on. the lamp would sit into it like a cradle. For canopies I would use the case screws and brackets possiblt. Hard to know without seeing.

I need to know orders by monday. I will work with all buyers to make a final date. There are some custom requests in the works which may (probably not) delay the order a few days.
Since the 1st is a friday I figured that would work best for most.

Lastly, because of your PAR readings, there has been some thoughts as to whether or not these are 1w or 3w bulbs being dialed back. And do you know the brand of the bulb?

Not 2X4's the height of the one board (closest) is just under 1.75"
off water distance to bottom of board 1.5. The light sits up .75 inches from bottom of bracket. and the lamps are .25 in from fiture splash sheild.

So the lights sit at 2.5" from waterline in this application. The company also uses 2W leds for higher powered fixtures. so you can have up to a 240W custom fixture in the same footprint. If they are dialing back all the better for the bulb life.. I dont think they are pushing them because the watt reading was 133 @1.13 that accounts for the fans and power supplies.

Anyone who would like to verify PAR readings is welcome. My readings were blind to me. I placed the probe and had my wife sitting behind me and writing the reading from the meter. I did not see them till I was finished. and I was surprised. However if you look at the individual blue and the white combine them and they are pretty close to the combined readings. Since par is cumulative this was a pretty good verification to me.

Raise the light up and bring it closer to the waterline gradually over time.
