he is still breathing fast and is moving slow, I wish he would eat but no such luck. I am getting meds tomorrow and hoping for the best. I will say he swims around a little more than day one.
Again thanks for the help and good luck!

my clown did the same thing...would not eat for a week, and acted weird. I just let him sit, gave him plenty of rocks to hide in. Eventually he (now she) started eating and acted normal.
Maybe all the things your are doing is adding more stress which is inturn weaking the immune system. Maybe let nature run its course and give him the most constant and stressless environment and allow the immune system to do its job.
just a thought though, I've only been reefing for six months, so what do
I know
He is getting better not worse. Breathing went from real heavy to almost normal. No inflamed gills anymore. He was a wild cought clown so from what I have heard they all will most likely get brook.

Well day 4 he is still with me and looks to be doing better. I tried to order some Formalin 3 but my money was refunded and I was told it is no longer available for purchase. Does anyone know of anyone selling some formalin or does anyone have any they could let me use for my clow. I will trade an SPS frag for 1 bath of Formalin.
Have you checked at Petco or Petsmart for it?

From what i understand Brook kills clowns super fast. I do not think he has Brook but will continue treatment for parasites just incase. I guess I will continue medicating the QT until he starts to eat and his fins grow back a bit. I have never treated a sick clown before so I am not sure when to stop treatment. I do not want to stop too early and I do not want to medicate him too long.
Any suggestions?
