      Sebae Anemone - Spawning?

I've never seen this before but my Sebae anemone is releasing white cloudy "smoke" from its mouth.

I did not know they spawned. Does anyone know if this is spawning and if it is harmful to other corals or Fish?

Also, any reactive treatment or maintenance tasks I should do?

      THANKS!!!

How long has it been in there?? If its a spawn no big deal its a snack for your fish, but if its the Zooanthelle then the Seabae is in bad shape. Hopefully the former rather than then latter.

My status is: I'd rather be reefing than

sounds like it to me, best to do a decent sized water change.

      Sure looks like it.
I'd be concerned if mouth is always that wide/gaping.
Most do good size water changes during this as Marlon suggested.

      Thanks!

      Thanks everyone for your replies!

The tank cleared up the following morning and the anemone looks amazing. THe protien skimmer ASM G3 went into overdrive and worked great. We did a 20% water change this morning and everything checks out ok so far. More thorough water tests to be completed later today.
