      Peter, we took par readings on it and posted them on the group buy thread for the 112w led's. Iirc they were 250 directly below 12" down and 120ish on the sand bed 24" away.

      From reading about these lights it looks like they have the right idea with them. They have cooling down, they have the right color lights, and look awesome. Please let us know how these work out. Would love to see these compared to the ones using 6700k led's.

      are these 3w or 1w leds? and its 36 led per fixture? running 1A each led?

      It has 199 1w leds.

      wow! 199.. boy that's a lot of leds... the must have the price well under a $1 each to pull that. From the picture it was hard to see that many, i was wondering how the par was so good if it was only 36, that's why i was wondering if it was 3w or not. Is the color fully controllable via the controller box that comes with it? Timer options?

      lol oops... I meant 119 not 199

      For $350 you'll be hard pressed to find an led unit with any controllability or built in timers.

      Atually I have found just that... More info to follow soon... (teaser but my order has arrived and I am testing it) 120W with timmer option to control each color.
