WOW, i am a believer now. These are SICK! I still have to get the pipe and bend it to hang it but initial hang test brings out ridiculous colors and shimmer. I'll update with pics 2 days from now.

I was doubting them a little bit on Jon's tank (probably didn't look so hot with all the algae in there, sorry for calling you out Jon) but I have them at my place now on an algae free tank and they are absolutely stunning. I'm probably going to save up and buy a set of my own, maybe add a couple actinic t5's for the hell of it
Just gotta figure out how i'm gonna mount some moonlights
Is it white and blue or do I see some purple lights in there?
I'm really liking it. No heat issues thus far and everything is looking real good and fully extended. Gonna sell my current outer orbit fixture.

The no heat issue thing is a HUGE incentive for buying.. That and you don't have to replace the bulbs for 10+ years
Anyone hook their fixtures to a Kill-O-Watt to see how much juice these things actually use? A friend of mine purchased the Ebay version and he says his only uses ~80 watts. Which seems really good, if it's comparable to a 250W metal halide.
Hey guys........It's been nearly a month now since the last post....are we still loving these LED lights?
I'm thinking of buying one, just want to make sure they are the best one's out there for the money. thanks!

I am still happy with it Ron, you can swing by my place and check it out if you want a real time visual of it over a tank. Rbta's and corals are happier still.
I have my pendant over my 90g right now. Its not enough over a 48" tank by any means, but I have it up about 6" and the hydnophora is still very happy on the very bottom.
I am extremely impressed with the spread though. I have some softies on the edges and they open up from the light so there must be reasonably good spread.
Any recent pictures?
Did I miss it in the thread? Has anyone taken a PAR meter to these?
